The PCB (Printed Circuit Board) with integrated LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) is clearly visible under a protective overlay material.
The PCB's are manufactured in compliance with Genesys Controls' Quality Assurance Handbook and are tested according to the Manufacturing Test Plan. The PCB's are then inspected to meet IPC-A-610 standards.
The ICCS (Integrated Coin Counting System) will operate anywhere in the world. The power supply is a universal input type, accepting 100 - 240 VAC, and 50 - 60 Hertz.
Maintenance free overlay. Dirt and grime can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
The LCD display indicates machine status, running coin counts, and values.
The operator selects the function he/she wants by navigating various menus on the LCD display, while using the push button switches on the overlay. These switches are labeled with internationally accepted icon's (small pictures) to clearly and intuitively identify the function of the switch. When the operator presses the arrow pointing "up" the LCD display will scroll up (to the top) by one line. When the down arrow is pressed the display scrolls down one line. The "enter" key, when pressed, selects the operation displayed on the top line of the display. A receipt will be printed when the printer icon button is pressed.
Printer paper replacement is easy and straightforward. Standard calculator tape is used and is commonly available at office supply stores. Paper tape receipt is easily accessible. The printer has a paper tear guide, enabling the operator to easily and cleanly tear off the printed receipt.
Durability. The overlay push button switches are rated for over 250,000 operations, while most mechanical switches are rated less than 50,000 operations. The machine was designed with durability in mind, using machine engineered high quality steel and aluminum parts as opposed to plastic.
Some of the strongest magnets in the world come standard in the NFS Coin Machines, in order to sort out ferrous metals and other debris that may be mixed in with the coin. (This will not be applicable to all countries due to metallic coin) The magnets are rare earth magnets of a Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB) composition.
